At Clifton Hill Orthodontics, our goal is to provide you with personalised and highly specialised care. This boutique style of care and practice is rare these days, but something that we value highly in our practice. Orthodontic treatment is an important investment of your time and money. We value this commitment. To ensure that you receive the highest level of care, we make sure that you are seen and treated by an orthodontist at every visit. We also use separate treatment rooms to ensure your privacy.
The clinic is an active supporter of the “Give a Smile” charitable trust run by the Australian Society of Orthodontists.
When you come to see us for an initial consultation for you or your child, our orthodontists will listen to your concerns and complete a thorough examination of your teeth and bite. At this appointment, we will also discuss our findings, initial treatment recommendations and estimated costs.
If your child is not ready for treatment, we will recommend the appropriate recall time. If you or your child is ready to start treatment, an appointment will be scheduled so that orthodontic records (photographs, digital dental moulds of the teeth and radiographs) can be collected and/or requested. The orthodontist will analyse these records and present treatment options to you at a follow-up consultation (referred to as a Discussion appointment) about 4 weeks later. The discussion will also clarify which appliances are required, and whether extractions, or jaw surgery is necessary.
I am so fortunate to work in a field that I love. No treatment and no patients are ever the same. Although our days are busy, it is important to me that patients do not feel as though they have been rushed or left feeling ill-informed. The highlight of the day for me is finishing a patient’s treatment and seeing the confidence that radiates from their new smile!
